Our team is full of honest people who take pride in their work. Behind every group of hard workers are inspiring leaders.
At SERVPRO of Escondido we are lucky to have not only one but three great leaders. They have molded all of us into the helpful and encouraging team we have become. Every part of our office plays a key role in our success. From the second a customers calls our office, they are greeted by a person who understands the stress they are going through. Our team takes note of everything our customers have to say because the small details are important to running a smooth operation. Our project managers are incredibly detailed in their explanations of procedures and walk every homeowner through the process giving specific information to help ease the stress.

SAFETY Always Comes First!

PPE known as Personal Protective Equipment is always worn to protect our employees.
Safety always comes first at SERVPRO. A job can only be done correctly if you are prepared for it correctly.
Having the proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is important and always the first step in every job. Working in the restoration industry has potential for injury so it's important to be prepared at all times and protect yourselves in every way possible!
Allen has his PPE on for this mold loss. If there is mold present when cutting into the drywall, the spores can travel and even be inhaled. No one wants to inhale anything other than oxygen so our employees are required to wear masks & protective eye wear. Even if no mold is present, a mask is important to keep from inhaling debris that floats around and can cause health effects.
We care about our employees and customers health so we always make sure everyone has the proper PPE on for each and every job.

Pack-Outs and Pack-Backs

Our contents team is highly trained in packing out and packing back jobs.
Did you know our team handles content manipulation?
Don't worry about breaking your back trying to move heavy furniture or stress about breaking your fine china.
Our team of trained professionals carefully pack away your belongings into SERVPRO boxes. They are individually wrapped and packed away for safe keeping.
When you experience a water, fire, mold or bio hazard loss our contents team will pack out each room or rooms that are affected.
When the work is finished, our team will pack back all of your belongings exactly where they came from.
If you do not have any room for the boxes we can take them back to our 25,000 square foot climate-controlled warehouse where they are stored in a large protective crate that is marked with your name and address.

Tips for Flooding

We have certified cleaning agents and proper tools to use for all our jobs.
Water damage can occur with no warning. Protect your home from a flood in every way you can:
- Protect wells from taking safety improvement suggestions from a licensed contractor.
- Make sure your yard slopes away from your home to direct water away from it.
- Have a plumber install an exterior sewer backflow valve.
- Anchor fuel tanks.
- Have an electrician raise switches, sockets, circuit breakers, and wiring at least 12 inches above expected flood levels.
For winter (areas that experience snow):
- Rain can make snow melt quickly.
- Remove snow piled against home.
- Seal any cracks or gaps in foundation.
- Safely remove snow from roofs.
- Clear drains and gutters of debris and assure snow melts away from home.

MEET OUR OWNERS!
Our owners Joe, Juan and Steve first opened the doors to SERVPRO of North Vista/ San Marcos in 2003.
- In 2017 our owners decided to grow our team and purchased SERVPRO of Escondido.
- Over a year later in 2018 they became the new owners to SERVPRO of Carlsbad.
Our owners are dedicated to helping our customers receive the best service we can offer. With each of them bringing honesty, integrity, respect and knowledge to the table, they make a great team.
They are experts in the restoration industry with 28+ years of experience behind them.
Joe and Steve' distinguished military background set high standards for our employees. All of us at SERVPRO of Escondido strive to take care of our customers to the best of our ability.

Removing mold from a hot water leak!
What is mold?
Molds are simple organisms that are found indoor and outdoor. They are very small spores. The color can be anywhere from white to orange and green to black.
What does it need to grow?
To grow, mold needs food ex: leaves, paper. It also needs moisture and a place to grow.
Can you find mold in your home?
Absolutely. Sources that can cause problems for mold are flooding, leaky roofs, mud, steam from cooking, shower or bath steam/leaks, damp clothes, humidifiers.
How can you prevent mold in your home?
- Check for moisture on windows
- Check for wood warping
- See if you can smell a musty odor
- check for cracking of plasterboard
If water penetrates any of these areas, there is potential for mold growth.
All of these tips can help save you from a moldy mess!
